24/7 ZEN at ECS-XIX SOFC 2025
We’re glad to share that Natasha Di Benedetto from IREC – Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya presented recent results from the 24/7 ZEN project at the 19th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC-XIX), held on July 13-18, 2025, in Stockholm.
Her talk focused on the development and testing of LSFCu and LSFCu–CeO₂ composite materials as oxygen electrodes for SOC devices in co-SOEC conditions, as a key part of the project’s efforts to improve performance and sustainability in energy conversion systems.
Key results included:
– High performance in co-electrolysis conditions
– Strong stability during operation
-100% cobalt-free composition, supporting greener and more sustainable technologies
SOFC-XIX, organized by ECS – The Electrochemical Society, brings together researchers and industry from around the world to discuss the latest advances in solid oxide technologies, making it an ideal platform to showcase our work.
