24/7 ZEN project on the 2nd Hydrogen Summer ScH2ool in Kozani, Greece.
Ms. Elisabeth Kaligka, Head of Monitoring Performance & Technical Training Center at DESFA, presented the 24/7 ZEN project at the 2nd Summer ScH2ool that was held in Kozani between 1-5 of July. During her presentation, Ms Kaligka, highlighted the key aspects of the project, which aims to design and develop a high performing 33/100 kW scale rSOC power balancing plant and demonstrate its compatibility with the electricity and gas grids. The 24/7 ZEN project focuses on sustainability and innovation, promoting the integration of green technologies in energy grids.

In addition, Ms Elisabeth Kaligka analysed the shaping of the New Era of Green Gas, stressing the importance of decarbonising the existing grid. Specifically, she referred to the challenges and opportunities arising from the implementation of new technologies and the transition to cleaner forms of energy. Mrs. Elisabeth Kaligka underlined the need for continuous training and specialisation of technicians to ensure the successful implementation of these strategies.

The 2nd Summer ScH2ool brought together a large number of experts and scientists and academics from the energy sector to discuss the latest developments and perspectives in Hydrogen technology. The presentations and discussions during the summer school highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
